Your Coastal Haven
More than just a place to stay
These are a few of our favourite things:
Turn off the Princes Highway and into another world. The peaceful hamlet of Mystery Bay is a magical place. Come over the rise and you’ll be awed by he view of the pristine waters of Mystery Bay beach framed by the trees along the foreshore. Take a low tide walk around the headlands to the south, clamber over rocks and discover beach after untouched beach.
Awake to the warbling of a magpie and the distant shriek of the stunning red-breasted King Lory parrot. Breakfast with the birds on the back deck, or find a patch of morning sun at the perfectly positioned picnic table.

Seasonal Uses
Summer
Swim in the crystal clear waters of Mystery Bay Beach. If you’re into water sports, the boat ramp at Lake Corunna is a 7 minute drive away. Lazy Sunday afternoons at the Dromedary Pub in Central Tilba with live music cap off a perfect week.
Autumn
As the weather cools, take a bracing low-tide walk around the headlands of Mystery Bay to the south of the main beach. The sunsets over Gulaga mountain (Mount Dromedary) at this time of year are spectacular.
Winter
This is the perfect time of year for a brisk walk through the State forest at the end of Lamont Young Drive, that will take you back down to Mystery Bay Road. Snuggle up by the fire and read a book or enjoy a movie to end the day.
Spring
The garden is blooming and the screeches of teenage birds with mottled plumage fill the air. It’s whale watching season, and charter boats take to the water at this time of year.
